Annual (Grows, blooms and dies within one year)
This small flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its emerald green stem is thick and splits into branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the frost green leaves are fan-like with wavy edges; the leaves alternate on the stem.
7 to 9 flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 4 inches/10 cm wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of hazel. The flower head is made up of 22 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight bowl.
The scent is overpowering and is flowery, and it has no pollen.  It is "pollinated" by the rain it catches in the center of it's petals.
Flower Facts
- They can grow in even the most barren lands, but because of how they reproduce; if they were to be planted outside in areas with frequent rainfalls, they will quickly overtake the land.
- They are very toxic if ingested.
